FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Coming off a significant victory against Southern Illinois to end their weekend at the Saluki Invitational, the Northern Arizona volleyball team continues their road trip on Monday with the UT Martin Labor Day Tri-Match. NAU, sitting with a 3-2 record, caps its five-match trip with UT Martin at 9 a.m. and Alabama A&M at 1 p.m. before finally opening up its home schedule this upcoming weekend versus Bethune-Cookman.
Ken Murphy's Sound Bite: "We showed tremendous growth this past weekend. We didn't play the match we wanted to (against Central Florida), but this group is so intent on learning lessons from all of their experiences. We used that match as a way to tell ourselves we could play better and with more intensity and focus. To see them flip that around in (the Southern Illinois match), it sets the bar a little higher for us going forward."
