LAS VEGAS, Nev. – After all three NAU doubles teams fell in the round of 32 to begin play on Thursday, two doubles pairs rebounded with consolation victories on the second day of the Wilson/ITA Division-I Women’s Mountain Regional in Las Vegas.

Juniors Aimee Oki and Edit Suhajda dropped an 8-4 decision to open play on Thursday but bounced back with an 8-1 consolation doubles victory over Sophie Dang and Rilee Moorhead of Idaho State. Also advancing in the doubles consolation bracket was the NAU pair of junior Orsi Golovics and freshman Malia Wahinepio in an 8-6 win over Weber State’s Greyce Farias and Keya Jenkins.
