Swimming & Diving Cruises to 168-127 Victory Over NMSUFLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona swimming & diving team blazed through the first half of Saturday's dual meet and coasted to victory, 168-127, over New Mexico State in the Aquatic and Tennis Complex. The Lumberjacks won 13 of the 16 events – including the first nine – and made a midseason statement in a matchup between last spring's top two finishers at the Western Athletic Conference Championships.

NAU Student-Athletes Continue to Graduate at a High RateINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Arizona University’s NCAA Graduation Success Rate of 84 leads the Big Sky Conference, according to a national report released Tuesday. The NCAA developed the GSR for Division I institutions in 2002 in response to college and university presidents who wanted more accurate graduation data. NAU’s rate is the second-highest in the state of Arizona amongst the Regent institutions.

Swimming & Diving Named CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America TeamFLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Champions in and out of the pool yet again, the Northern Arizona swimming & diving team picked up another Scholar All-America team award from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Wednesday. Bestowed on teams with a grade point average of at least 3.00, the Lumberjacks received the award for their exceptional performance in the classroom during the spring semester with a team GPA of 3.44.

For junior Urte Kazakeviciute and sophomore Alina Staffeldt making a repeat appearance at the hotly contested meet last week, experience paid off as the pair slashed their times from a year ago in their specialty events.
