2013-14 (Freshman): Earned one All-WAC second team honor at WAC Championships...Swam in 100, 200 and 500 freestyle and 800 and 400 freestyle relay at the WAC Championships...Swam the second leg of the 800 Freestyle Relay team that finished third with a time of 7:24.66...Advanced to the B final and finished 11th in 500 Free with a career-best time of 4:59.36...Advanced to the B final and finished 14th in 100 Free after career-best prelim time of 52.51...Won the C final and placed 17th overall in 200 Free with a career-best time of 1:52.92...Recorded season-best times of 24.47 in 50 Free, 57.88 in 100 Fly and 2:06.17 in 200 Fly at UNLV Invitational...Totaled 10 top-three finishes with one individual title and one relay title...Won 200 Back versus Northern Colorado and was part of 400 Free Relay winning team against Grand Canyon...Also swam 200 and 400 Medley Relays during the season.

Personal: Kathryn Elizabeth Palomino was born Dec. 18, 1994 in Phoenix, Ariz....Daughter of Elizabeth and Luis Palomino...One sister, Adriana...Father, Luis, played baseball at Arizona State...Hobbies include music and reading...Most exciting event was attending a training camp at the Olympic Training Center and being surrounded by world class athletes like Michael Phelps...Chose NAU because she fell in love with the area and location and loved the camaraderie of the team...Also considered New Mexico State, Arizona State and San Diego State.
