Swimming and Diving Travels to Arizona State
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Arizona swimming and diving heads to Arizona State on Saturday, Dec. 18 for its first road dual meet since Nov. 13 at Idaho. The women take on the Sun Devils at 11 a.m. at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.
The Lumberjacks last two competitions have been home dual meets against Western Athletic Conference (WAC) opponents Boise State and New Mexico State. NAU fell to defending WAC champion Boise State but answered with a dual win over the Aggies on Dec. 4.
NAU took on Arizona State last year in a double dual with New Mexico State. The Lumberjacks lost 192-107.
Arizona State's last two dual meets were at UCLA and USC. The women lost to UCLA 168-132 and the following day to USC, 172-121. Saturday's meet will be the first straight dual for the Sun Devils since Nov. 13.
Arizona State's swimming team last competed at the Toshiba Classic in Long Beach Calif., Nov. 19-20 while the diving team joined the Lumberjacks at the Arizona Wildcat Invite from Nov. 19-21.
