Makenzie DeLaughder - M - 6-0 - Davis, Calif./Davis Senior
Bio: Plans to major in exercise science…4.09 high school GPA…Will graduate in top 10% of her high school class…Vice President of high school's Health Care Careers Club and office in the Blue Devils Club…Four-year letter winner and starter in soccer at Davis Senior HS…Helped team win section championship in 2011…Awarded the team's Golden Boot in 2010 and tied for Golden Boot in 2011…Also played for Davis Legacy club soccer team…Club team won five tournaments including Disney Soccer Showcase in Orlando, Fla….MVP of Surf Cup Thanksgiving tournament in 2012...Daughter of Kimberly DeLaughder…Two brothers, Tyler and Peyton…Brother, Peyton, is her twin…Also considered Sacramento State and UC Davis.
Head coach Andre Luciano: "Makenzie reminds me a great deal of (former Lumberjack) Kristi Andreassen in the sense that she is a tall, athletic player that can play multiple positions. She's very vocal and has the ability to be an attacking threat going forward. She's a player that we're going to rely on in the next four years to plug a lot of holes for us."

She's extremely athletic, great with her feet and is a fantastic organizer and shot-stopper in the goalkeeping position."

Rachel Earll - D - 6-1 - Meridian, Idaho/Bishop Kelly
Bio: Plans to major in health occupations…3.85 high school GPA and ranked 48th in her high school class…Member of her high school National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes…Two-year letter winner and starter in soccer at Bishop Kelly HS…Also competed in basketball and soccer at Mountain View HS…Helped Bishop Kelly to two state and two district championships…Helped Mountain View to state runner-up finish in soccer and district runner-up finish in basketball…Four-time all-academic selection…First Team All-Conference selection…Also played for three club soccer teams most recently for FC Nova…Helped FC Nova become first team from Idaho to win a national championship…Top Drawer Player of the Week…Daughter of Bill and Kelly Earll…One older brother, Zac…Also considered Boise State and Montana.

Amy Eckert - D - 5-6 - Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain
Bio: Plans to study physical therapy…3.5 high school GPA, ranked 122nd in her high school class…Three years on the Principal's honor roll…Member of her high school yearbook club and sports medicine club…Four-year letter winner and starter and one-year captain in soccer at Cheyenne Mountain HS…Also competed in basketball at Cheyenne Mountain…Named the team's outstanding defenseman in 2011…4A Second Team All-State selection…4A First Team Metro League selection…Led team in assists in 2011…Helped team win 4A Metro Championship in 2011 and 2012…Played in Colorado All-Star game as a sophomore…Also played for Pride Predators '95 club soccer team…Helped club team reach state final in 2011 and 2012 and semifinal in 2008 and 2010…Daughter of Joseph and Cathy Eckert…One older brother, Ricky…Uncle, Tom, attended NAU…Also considered Colorado, Montana and Nevada-Reno.
Luciano: "Amy is another pure outside attacking back. She played for a great club for Pride Predators in Colorado Springs and is extremely technical and athletic. She likes to go forward and get involved on the offensive side of things and she gives us the ability to attack more coming out of the back."

 

Missy Kettelkamp - D - 5-8 - Phoenix, Ariz./Pinnacle

She's a fantastic ball winner in the air and will provide us not only a defensive presence but also an offensive presence on set pieces."

 

Shanna Lechelt - M - 5-6 - Beaverton, Ore./Jesuit
Bio: Contemplating a major in biology, mechanical engineering or finance…3.51 high school GPA…Member of high school honor roll, ambassadors and service club…Three-year letter winner and two-year starter in soccer at Jesuit HS…Also competed in softball at Jesuit…Received coaches' Most Improved Award in 2010…Helped team win Metro League Championship in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012…Team won the state championship in 2010…Ranked No. 3 nationally by ESPN Rise in 2010…Team was state quarterfinalists in 2011 and 2012…Helped team compile a 56-4-6 record during her career…Academic All Metro League selection…Also played for two club soccer teams most recently OSSA…Helped Tualatin Hills United Ireland club team win the State Cup championship four years in a row from 2009-12…Played in NAU soccer camp all-star game in 2012…Daughter of Derek and Jana Lechelt…Also considered Arizona State, Washington State and Seattle.
Luciano: "Shanna is a pure left-footed midfielder that can play a variety of different positions. She has a knack of going forward and scoring goals and being lethal in services. We're excited that she'll be a pure left-footed player in the midfield which is something we haven't had in a long time."

 

Ali Lixandru - F - 5-2 - Phoenix, Ariz./Pinnacle
Bio: Plans to major in exercise science…3.74 weighted high school GPA…Member of high school's National Honors Society and Society of Women Scholars…Two-year letter winner and starter in soccer at Pinnacle HS…Received team's Most Improved award in 2012…Helped team to two consecutive state semifinal appearances in 2012 and 2013…Helped team compile 26-1 record the last two seasons…Team was the 2012-13 Arizona Showcase Tournament champions…Also played for three club soccer teams most recently SC del Sol…Helped SC del Sol win the 2012 Surf Cup College Showcase…Club team was a 2011-12 State Cup finalist…Daughter of Alex and Kim Lixandru…One younger sister, Kaeli…Aunt, Christy, attended NAU…Also considered Arizona State and Grand Canyon.
Luciano: "Ali is perhaps one of the quickest players we've ever coached. She will be a threat on the outside as an outside mid or as a forward and has the potential to develop into a fantastic attacking player over the course of her four years."

 

Cheyanne Mumphrey - GK - 5-8 - Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta
Bio: Plans to major in international business…3.94 high school GPA, ranked 55th in her high school class…Recipient of several leadership awards in high school…Member of high school's ASB, CSF, Hospice of the Valleys and Green Team clubs…Three-year letter winner and starter and two-year captain in soccer at Vista Murrieta HS…Ended career with 34-19-8 record in goal…Inducted into Vista Murrieta HS Hall of Fame…Holds school records in goals allowed and saves…Second in school history in goals against average and shutouts…Third in school history in minutes played…Named Southwestern All-League in 2011, 2012 and 2013…Named All-League First Team in 2013…Also played for four club soccer teams most recently So Cal Blues…Club team was Surf Cup champions in 2012…Daughter of David and Janell Mumphrey…One younger brother, Dalton…Cousin, Len, currently plays basketball at NAU…Also considered Elmira College and Swarthmore.
Luciano: "Cheyanne is probably one of the more athletic goalkeepers we've recruited in a very long time. She'll have a tremendous amount of growth and she's a player that we're going to look to polish. She'll provide us an incredible amount of depth in goal."

 

Danny Muniz - D - 5-0 - Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral
Bio: Plans to study physical therapy…3.7 high school GPA…Four-year starter and one-year captain in soccer at Chaparral HS…Helped team with the Horizon Tournament championship in 2012-13…Named All-City in 2012…All-Region second team selection in 2011…Also played for four club soccer teams most recently SC del Sol 95'…Helped SC del Sol 94' team win the State Cup in 2012…SC del Sol 94' finished 13th at ECNL Nationals...Played in both NAU and ASU soccer camp all-star games…Daughter of Joyce and Sergio Muniz…Two older brothers, Sergio and Gabriel.
Luciano: "Danny is a fantastic player as an outside back. She was very coached by Sc del Sol and Les Armstrong. I liken her to Dani Alves of Barcelona because she's a pure attacking minded defender and will provide us with something that we have not had in a very long time which is an offensive minded outside back."

 

Meg O'Brien - M - 5-4 - Flagstaff, Ariz./Flagstaff
Bio: Plans to major in pre-medicine or physical sciences…3.96 high school GPA, ranked 14th in her high school class…Member of high school's National Honors Society and Yearbook club…High school honor roll…One-year starter and captain in soccer at Flagstaff HS…Also competed in cross country at Northland Preparatory Academy… Played for former NAU player Jenna Samora her senior year at Flagstaff HS…Team had undefeated regular season and made the second round in the state tournament in 2013…Named team's Most Valuable Player in 2013...AIA Division II Section I Second Team selection in 2013...Team won Sandra Day O'Connor tournament in 2012… Also played for two club soccer teams most recently Flagstaff Soccer Club…Played for Samora in club…Made the ODP Arizona State pool in 2008, 2009 and 2010…Helped Sereno Soccer Club to three state championships from 2008-10 among other tournament championships…Received U16 Golden Boot award at Carlsbad Tournament for most goals scored in 2010…NAU soccer camp all-star her junior and senior years… Played in NAU soccer camp all-star game in 2012…Daughter of Kevin and Patricia O'Brien…One younger sister, Clare…Also considered Colorado College, Northern Colorado and Dartmouth.

Deyana Walker - F - 5-8 - Ann Arbor, Mich./Ladywood
Bio: Plans to major in special education…3.21 high school GPA…Member of high school's National Art Honor Society and French Club…Three-year letter winner and two year starter in soccer at Ladywood HS…All-State honorable mention…Recorded 14 goals and seven assists in 2012…Helped team finish runner-up in the state in 2011…Team was district and regional champions in 2011…Team was the Catholic League and district champions in 2012…Member of first soccer team in school's history…Ladywood HS Annual Invitational All-Star team member in 2012…Also played for Livonia City Soccer club team…Led the team in goals and assists in both 2011-12 and 2012-13…Totaled 48 goals and 21 assists in two years…Club team was a state cup quarterfinalist in 2012…Daughter of Donnelle LaDouceur and Curtis Walker…One younger brother, Gianni…Also considered Northern Colorado.

Mattie Wojcik - M - 5-8 - Flagstaff, Ariz./Flagstaff
Bio: Plans to major in business…3.53 high school GPA…Member of high school's National Honor Society, LINKS and student council…Honor roll all four years…Three-year letter winner and starter and one-year captain in soccer at Flagstaff HS…Also competed in soccer at Sinagua HS…Played for former NAU player Jenna Samora her senior year at Flagstaff HS…Helped team win the state championship in 2011…Team had perfect 12-0 regular season records and qualified for the state tournament in 2012 and 2013…Four-time All-City selection…Named All-Region…Received team's Defensive Player of the Year award in 2013...Received team's Most Improved Player award in 2012…Received team's Mustang Award (signifying leadership) as a freshman in 2010 at Sinagua…Also played for Flagstaff United club soccer team…Played for Samora and current NAU head coach Andre Luciano in club…Made the Arizona Olympic Development team at 13 years old…NAU soccer camp all-star her junior and senior years…Daughter of Richard and Joni Wojcik…Two brothers, Braden and Bennett…Brother, Braden, currently attends NAU.

Ally Wojick - D - 5-8 - Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South
Bio: Plans to major in business or communications…2.7 high school GPA…Member of high school's Physical Education Leader and Interact clubs…Three-year letter winner and starter and one-year captain in soccer at Glenbrook South HS…Also competed in basketball at Glenbrook…Part of defense that allowed the fewest total goals in a season (10 goals in 24 games) in 2011…Team recorded 12 consecutive shutouts in 2011 and 19 total in 2011-12…Team won 15 consecutive games in 2012…Team finished fourth in the IHSA state tournament and was IHSA regional, sectional and super-sectional champions in 2012…Also played for FC United club soccer team…Club team was ranked first in the state and 25th in the nation in 2011 and third in the state and 30th in the nation in 2012…Helped club team win numerous tournaments…Daughter of Dave and Leslie Wojick…Two sisters, Cassie and Sarah.
