Soccer Allows Two First Half Goals, Falls to Missouri 3-0

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri scored two goals in the first half to put the Northern Arizona soccer team in a hole early in the game, and added an insurance goal in the second half to defeat the Lumberjacks 3-0 Friday night at Walton Stadium in Columbia, Mo.

The Lumberjacks got on the attack right from the get-go but senior Jenna Samora's shot was wide of the net in the second minute. Two minutes later, freshman Sarah Tarver's shot sailed high.

The Tigers' sophomore Dominique Richardson gave Missouri a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute, heading in the ball of an assist by sophomore Danielle Nottingham. Freshman Taylor Grant provided the Tigers with their second goal of the half in the 27th minute and Missouri took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
