NAU Athletics Posts 85 Percent Graduation Success Rate
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Northern Arizona Athletics Department posted a school-best 85 percent Graduation Success Rate, as released by the NCAA national office Tuesday. It was the highest of the three state universities, and tied for the best in the Big Sky Conference.

Jacquie LeMarr Named Big Sky Women's Golfer of the Week
OGDEN, Utah - Junior Jacquie LeMarr was named the Big Sky Women's Golfer of the Week today by the conference office. LeMarr finished second overall at last weekend's Firestone Grill Cal Poly Women's Invitational with her two-round, even-par score of 146.

NAU Student-Athletes Spread Message During Red Ribbon Week
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Arizona University Athletics participated in the annual Red Ribbon Week throughout the community last week, from Oct. 20-24. A total of 134 student-athletes participated in Red Ribbon Week visiting local schools, speaking with Flagstaff’s youth and interacting with them in athletic activities.

DENVER, Colo. - Northern Arizona women's golf dropped to ninth-place today after the second round of the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by Denver University. The 'Jacks posted a one-round total of 317 and have a combined Friday and Saturday score of 627 (+51).

NAU's Jacquie LeMarr Caddies at USGA Girls Junior Championship
Junior Jacquie LeMarr recently caddied for Marijosse Navarro at the USGA Girls Junior Championship from July 21-26. Together, the pair put together an incredible run that finished with a second-place finish at the tournament held at Flagstaff's Forest Highlands Golf Club. 'Jack Golf Lines Up Competitive 2014-15 Slate
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The Lumberjack women's golf team looks ahead to an impressive 2014-15 schedule lined up for them. Looking to strengthen their tournament field experiences, NAU will head to some competitive events where they will face excellent conference and non-conference competition led by head coach Brad Bedortha. Bedortha, who has led NAU to two conference championships, is extremely confident about this year's team and tournament schedule.

Golf's Bezdicek Named All-American Scholar by WGCA
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Junior Savana Bezdicek was recognized by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as an All-American Scholar for the second time in her career. A total of 664 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor.
