Men’s Tennis Set for First Home Matches of the Season

Northern Arizona (3-6, 0-2 Big Sky) vs. Montana State (6-3, 2-0 Big Sky)

FLAGSTAFF. Ariz. – After nearly two months of play, the Northern Arizona men's tennis team will finally play its first home matches of the season this week against Montana State and North Dakota. The Lumberjacks will look to snap their three-match losing streak against Montana State on Thursday in Sedona.

Series History

This will be the 36th time Northern Arizona and Montana State will meet with last season's match going to the Bobcats 5-2. This will be just the second time Northern Arizona will face-off against North Dakota with last season's match went in favor of North Dakota 4-3.

Home Sweet Home

The Northern Arizona men's tennis squad will be in Flagstaff for the first time this season after playing every match on the road this season. These will be two of four straight home matches for the Lumberjacks before they head back on the road.

Big Sky Conference

The Lumberjacks will be looking for their first Big Sky win of the season in the team's third Big Sky match this season. The Lumberjacks opponent, Montana State, was picked to finish third in the Big Sky Conference, while North Dakota was picked to finish 10th, two spots below Northern Arizona who was predicted to finish eighth.
