Men's Tennis Wraps Up Fall Schedule at UNLV Tourney
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Northern Arizona men's tennis team wrapped up its play at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic on Saturday with sophomore Dominic Bermudez defeating Utah's Ben Tasevac, 6-2, 7-5. The win was Bermudez's second singles victory of the tournament.
Also on Saturday, senior Ben Lantz and junior Robert Martin competed, but both lost their respective consolation singles matches. Lantz earned a victory on Friday over UNLV's Brian Kenyon after Kenyon retired in the second set with an injury.
The Easley Memorial Classic was the Lumberjacks' final competition of the fall season. They will now turn their preparation to the spring season, which begins on January 20 against Loyola Marymount in Tucson, Ariz.
