Pezzutto Wins Back Draw to Conclude Men’s Tennis Aggie Invitational

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Junior Robin Pezzutto defeated Francisco Damasio of Western New Mexico, 6-3, 6-4, to win the back draw of the white bracket to highlight NAU action on the final day of the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational.

Sophomore Hugo Ramadier won a pair of matches, one by default, in the back draw of the crimson bracket while fellow sophomore Patrick Schimmelbauer also earned a singles win on Sunday. In main draw action late on Saturday, NAU junior Josh Brown was defeated by Abilene Christian's Brian Joyner and the doubles team of Brown and Schimmelbauer also took a loss.

The Lumberjacks will continue Fall tournament play in two weeks in Logan, Utah at the Utah State Open.
