Men's Tennis Tops Weber State, Moves to 4-1 in Conference Play

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Andrew Reiff clinched a 5-2 win for Northern Arizona men’s tennis over Weber State with a marathon 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles at the Flagstaff Athletic Club on Sunday. Reiff paired with Rob Pezzutto at No. 2 doubles picking up one of three doubles decisions for the Lumberjacks.

In addition to Reiff’s 2-0 record on the day, Pezzutto, David Flodberg, and Jake Tracy posted wins in singles and doubles play. The Lumberjacks swept doubles and picked up four singles victories in their sixth win of the year.

NAU (6-15, 4-1 BSC) continued to shine in Big Sky Conference play collecting its third-straight league win. With Sunday’s win, the Lumberjacks are potentially slotted for one of the top seeds in the Big Sky Championships in April with just three league matches left on the schedule.

NAU closes its home schedule on Saturday, April 4 at 3 p.m. against Eastern Washington. The Lumberjacks play two road matches against Montana and Montana State to close out the regular season.
