Win Streak Ends for Men's Tennis

BOZEMAN, Mont. – After four straight wins, the Northern Arizona men’s tennis team dropped its first decision since March 23 with a 5-2 defeat against Montana on the campus of Montana State.

With the loss, the Lumberjacks slip to 5-2 in the Big Sky Conference and 7-16 overall. Montana improved to 9-6 and 3-2 in league play.

The men dropped the doubles point for the second straight match. In singles, freshemen Andrew Reiff and Robin Pezzutto collected the Lumberjacks two points. Reiff defeated Colin Dektar 7-5, 6-2 at No. 1 singles while Pezzutto downed Felipe Raw 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4.

The Lumberjacks will play Montana State on Saturday, April 11 at noon.
