Men’s Basketball Hosts CSU Bakersfield Saturday Night; Toy Drive Continues
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona men's basketball team completes its two-game home stand against CSU Bakersfield at 6:35 p.m. Saturday night at the Rolle Activity Center.
Fans can bring a new unwrapped toy and receive free admission for their donations. Selected players will be available for autographs following the game, the first of three autograph nights during the season. The game can be heard on the Lumberjack Radio Network on 105.1 FM The Big Talker in Flagstaff, Prescott and Sedona and online via The Big Talker website and their mobile app. It will also be available online via Big Sky TV.
The Roadrunners are 5-2 after a 63-60 win over Sacramento State. They lost to Montana State last week and defeated Pepperdine earlier in the season 79-70. The leading scorer for the Roadrunners is Issiah Grayson at 11.9 points per game.
NAU is playing Cal-State Bakersfield for the second consecutive season. the two schools first time since 1976-77 before any of the current NAU players were born. The two schools met four times from 1972-77, splitting the four meetings with the home team winning each time. NAU won both meetings in Flagstaff and lost both games on the road.
