The Lumberjacks rebounded from their 0-3 start with a 103-42 victory over Arizona Christian on Friday night. They enter the game with eight consecutive home wins at the Rolle Activity Center dating to last season. The Lumberjacks have also posted 33 straight regular season victories over Non-Division I competition.
"We know what the expectations are and we need to play up to those expectations," said Adras. "It was good to see several guys step up and play for us."
NAU is hosting Northern New Mexico for the second time in three seasons. Cameron Jones had 28 points and Nick Larson recorded his first career double-double at NAU defeated Northern New Mexico 113-68 at the Walkup Skydome on Dec. 30, 2009.
The Eagles enter the game winless in 11 contests this season. They have played two Big Sky Conference opponents, losing to Weber State 109-50 and Montana State 111-61.
