FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona men's basketball team plays host to Portland State on Wednesday at the Rolle Activity Center at 6:35 p.m. The Lumberjacks will honor their five seniors in a pre-game ceremony.

"It is the last regular season game of our senior careers," said Julian Olubuyi. "It is a day for us to enjoy it while it lasts. Not everyone gets the opportunity we have."

The Lumberjacks bring a five-game home winning streak into the matchup and are 10-1 at home this season, the third-best home winning percentage in school history.

Portland State owns a 17-15 advantage in the series but the Lumberjacks swept the season series last year and have won three in a row after win in Portland earlier this season. NAU won a two over-time contest in Flagstaff last season and four-overtime game against the Vikings in 2008-09.

'To be honest nothing has really hit me yet but I am sure it will on Wednesday," said guard Eric Platt. "It has been enjoyable playing with all these guys. For there to be end point with all this, that is going to be the tough part about it. Not only all the guys but us seniors are pretty close."

NAU enters the game with a 17-11 record and 8-7 mark in Big Sky play, while Portland State is 13-15, 5-10 after winning two of the last three games. The Vikings are ineligible for postseason play this season.

The Lumberjacks have clinched the No. 4 seed in the Big Sky Tournament and will host either Montana State or Eastern Washington on Saturday in a quarterfinal game.

The game can be heard on the Lumberjack Radio Network on 105.1 FM The Big Talker or on the internet at Fans across the nation can watch the game on Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Northwest, Fox College Sports and the NAU Network (Dish Network Channel 9411). The game will also be available on Big Sky TV.
