GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Arizona men's basketball team will take on second-place Northern Colorado (10-3) with a chance to secure hosting a Big Sky Tournament quarterfinal game on March. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The Lumberjacks are 8-6 after a 63-42 victory over Sacramento State on Thursday, trailing Montana (12-3), Northern Colorado and Weber State (10-4) in the standings. A Lumberjack win or Montana State loss would secure the No. 4 seed in the upcoming tournament and guarantee a home game on March 5. The Bobcats play at Portland State on Saturday.

Senior Cameron Jones could become the school's all-time leading scorer, needing just 12 points to surpass record holder Kelly Golob (1,550). He has 1,539 points after scoring 23 against the Hornets. He has scored 97 points over the last four games (24.2 avg.) and has reached double digits in 13 consecutive games.

The Lumberjacks bring a three-game winning streak into the matchup and have won seven of the last nine overall.

The game can be heard on the Lumberjack Radio Network on 105.1 FM The Big Talker and on the internet at www.bigtalkerradio.com. Fans can also catch free video coverage of the game on Big Sky TV at www.bigskytv.org.
