Weather Pushes Start of NAU-UA Men's Basketball Game to 8:35
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The start time for tonight's Northern Arizona men's basketball game at Arizona has been pushed back to 8:35 p.m. Mountain time due to snow preventing the team from flying out of Flagstaff. The game will still be aired live on Fox Sports Arizona and broadcast on 105.1 FM The Big Talker in Northern Arizona and online at www.bigtalkerradio.com, beginning with the pregame show at 7:50 p.m.
Persistent snow throughout the day in Flagstaff prevented NAU from directly flying to Tucson and forcing the team to drive to meet their plane at Deer Valley airport. The game, which is this year's playing of the Fiesta Bowl Basketball Classic, will be the Lumberjacks final road non-conference game of the 2010-2011 season. The Lumberjacks, who had their seven game winning streak halted by USC on Saturday, will look to bounce back against the 8-2 Wildcats, who dropped an 87-65 decision to No. 18 BYU in their last game on Saturday.
