Mens Basketball Hosts Pacific Thursday Night

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona men’s basketball team will play its fourth game in seven days and host its second game in three nights against Pacific Thursday night at 6:35 p.m. in the Rolle Activity Center.
The Rolle/DuBois parking lot will be closed due to another event
on campus. There will be limited parking south of the Rolle and in
lots north of Rolle. Please do not park across the street in the
dirt as it is marked as a no-parking zone. Arriving early is
recommended.
The Lumberjacks are coming off a 65-59 loss to Fresno State in the
first game of the West Coast Classic.
“They are very similar to us,” said Head Coach Mike
Adras. “They run a ton of set plays that have very good
action with guys moving. Their big guys seem to be very talented as
low post scorers with the ability to step out and shoot the
ball.”
Pacific opened the 2009-10 regular season with a double overtime
victory at Pepperdine
(67-64) on Nov. 13 and defeated San Diego 56-55 on Nov. 16 in its
home opener. They are picked to finish fifth in the Big West
Conference in the 2009-10 preseason media poll
Pacific finished last year with a record of 21-13 overall,
finishing just one game out of first with a 10-6 Big West
Conference record. The Tigers advanced to the Championship Game of
the Big West Tournament, falling to Cal State Northridge. They were
selected to the Inaugural CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament,
defeating Portland and Idaho to advance to the semi-finals.
