Lumberjack Football Pro Day Slated for March 3rd

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona football program will hold its Pro Day on Thursday, March 3. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. with individual workouts in the weight room set to start at 9 a.m. in the Walkup Skydome. Fans are invited to come watch field workouts, which will begin after the weight room testing has been completed.

NAU's top NFL draftee was wide receiver Shawn Collins, who was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 1989 NFL Draft. The Lumberjacks last draftee was Paul Ernster, who was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2005. In the past three years, NAU has had eight players - Jarret Bilbrey, Trey Gilleo, Devin Willis, Zach Bauman, Andy Wilder, Chase Cartwright, Ify Umodu, and Beau Gardner - invited to NFL training camps. Gardner, a tight end, is currently on the Atlanta Falcons roster.

Several Lumberjacks will compete in Pro Day including All-Conference honorees Marcus Alford, Eddie Horn, R.J. Rickert, and Dejzon Walker.
