FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Hot off a historical win over No. 7 Montana, Northern Arizona defensive tackle Chima Ike has been named the College Sports Madness Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week. The honor marks the third week in a row that a Lumberjack has earned the honor.
Ike was instrumental to the Lumberjacks' defense as he registered five tackles and a pair of sacks for a loss of 12 yards. He was also credited with a pass breakup and two quarterback hurries.
NAU's defense was able to limit Montana's offense to 16 points as it beat the Grizzlies at home for the first time since 1997.
