FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Junior punter Andy Wilder was named to the prestigious Walter Camp All-America first team. The team was selected by the head coaches and sports information directors of the Football Championship Subdivision schools and certified by the accounting and auditing firm, Marcum LLP.
Wilder was also chosen to the Associated Press All-America second team and the Sports Network and College Sports Network All-America first teams.
Wilder led the nation in punting with a 46.3 yards per punt average with 25 punts of 50 or more yards during the season. He had a season-best kick of 71 yards during the season. He was also named to the Sports Network First-Team All-America squad and the College Sports Madness First-Team All-America team.
Wilder, who is a product of Scottsdale's Notre Dame Prep, was named the Special Teams Most Valuable Player at the team banquet.
