Football Holds First Scrimmage
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Junior
quarterback Michael Herrick went 9-for-11 for 106 yards with two
touchdowns in the first scrimmage for the Northern Arizona football
team Saturday night.
Senior running back had 31 yards on five carries, while Michael
Czyz had three receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown. Daiveun
Curry-Chapman also had a nice scoring reception. DeAnte Piper
adding a rushing touchdown of 15 yards.
ASU transfer Chase Stangel went 6-for-13 for 85 with two
interceptions, while Cary Grossart went 4-for-7 for 34 yards.
The defense had three sacks and three interceptions with Zac
McNally, Davion Dumas and Max Zemazonak all making picks.
