FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Arizona Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Cody Hodgeson earns 2015 President’s Achievement Award honors. Hodgeson is one of 10 university employees to receive the distinguished recognition.

“I am extremely grateful and honored to work for an institution that takes notice of and rewards individuals for their efforts,” said Hodgeson. “I am also blessed to have a department that supports the work we do behind the scenes, and I am excited to be a part of NAU’s success both now and in the future.”

Hodgeson has worked for NAU for a total of six years. He has spent the last five years as the head strength and conditioning coach. Hodgeson exhibits strong positive interpersonal relationships and has worked with others to create a sense of true community in the workplace.

Hodgeson was nominated by Director of Sports Medicine Cherisse Kutyreff.

“Cody is someone who goes above and beyond the duties of a strength and conditioning coach,” said Kutyreff. “He’s always been a positive role model for me and I am happy that he was able to receive this award. He definitely deserves it.”
