NAU Athletics Summer Camps to Take Place in June and July
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Young sports enthusiasts and aspiring collegiate athletes will have the opportunity to participate in summer camps hosted by a variety of NAU coaching staffs in June and July. Five different NAU athletic programs will hold camps, beginning with women's basketball on June 8.
The Lumberjack women's basketball program will host a team camp as well as individual day and overnight camps, while the NAU football coaches will host a skill camp and its annual High Mountain Challenge 7-on-7 and Big Man Challenge events during the second week of June. During the first week of July the NAU soccer team will host a girl's elite camp and high school team camp before welcoming both boys and girls for a day camp July 8-11.
From July 15-19, the NAU Track & Field program will host three concurrent camps focusing on different areas of competition, with separate camps for sprints and jumps, distance, and throws. The NAU volleyball program will host the final camps with a pair of skills camps and a team camp running three days each and beginning on July 16.
