Ted Sorich (Football, 1957-59)
Quarterbacked the 1958 team that played in St. Petersburg, Fla., for the NAIA national championship against Northeastern Oklahoma. A three-time All-Frontier Conference selection, including first-team honors in both 1958 and 1959. Also earned All-District 7 (NAIA) team and All-America honorable-mention accolades following the 1958 season, as well as first-team District 7 (NAIA) honors in 1959. Posted a three-year winning percentage of .830. Also played baseball, earning the Chester Deaver Baseball Award as the MVP in 1958. Served as the Offensive Coordinator at ASC-Flagstaff from 1960-62 before embarking on a successful career in coaching and athletics administration that led to his induction into the Pima County Sports Hall of Fame in 1993.
