At the time of her induction, Mindy Sherred possesses eight Lady Jack basketball records. She established career marks with 1,216 points scored, 426 free throws made, and 562 free throws attempted. In 1986-87, Sherred established season records by scoring 538 points, making 214 free throws, and attempting 273 free throws. She also established two game records during the 1986-87 season - 19 free throws made and 22 free throws attempted (both against Southern Utah State). She also shares the NAU record for free throw percentage in a game with 14-14 vs. Chapman College in 1986-87. Her average of 16 points per game ranks second in NAU history behind fellow Hall of Famer Peggy Kennedy. In addition to holding the top position in free throws made in a game, Sherred also holds position 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. All During the 1986-87 season. In 1987 Sherred was ranked 21st in the country in scoring becoming the first NAU basketball player to ever be ranked nationally. Note: All of Sherred's scoring was done prior to the three point shot.
