1998 NAU Athletics Hall of Fame Class
James Plump, playing three seasons in Flagstaff, made quite an impression while he was here. He won the Joseph Rolle Award as the team MVP twice (1967, 1968), helping the Jacks post a 48-32 record in his three seasons. His 1,349 career points listed him third on the all-time scoring list; his 17.8-point scoring average was second-best, and his 606 total rebounds were fourth. Finished his career on the NAU all-time list in seven categories, the single-season list in four categories, and his career-best 34-point game vs. Western New Mexico listed as the 11th-best single game effort by a Lumberjack.
