2002 Hall of Fame Inductee

Ted Keck (Administrator/Athletic Director, 1963-70)

Served as NAU's athletic director from 1963-70. Handled many roles with each athletic event including gate receipts, travel, etc. Was instrumental in beginning the steps to affiliate NAU with the Big Sky Conference, leading to NAU becoming a member of the Big Sky Conference in 1970. Also had a full teaching load as the department chair of health, physical education, recreation, dance and the intramural department.
