Ed Judie was selected to the 1st team All American Associated Press as a linebacker. He was honored by ABC-TV as the Defensive Player of the Game against Reno-Nevada University. He was ranked 4th in forced fumbles and 5th in tackles. Judie was selected as the Big Sky Player of the Week in both 1977 and 1979. He also played in the NCAA Division II playoff game in 1977, where his team was ranked 5th nationally. In 1978, his team won the Big Sky Conference Championship. Judie was a member of the 1981 San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl Champions. He ended his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
