Jack Blair (Football, 1936-37)
Blair was a member of the 1933 freshman football team, the Axebabes. He starred on the 1936 and 1937 Lumberjack teams, and was elected co-captain of the 1937 team. He quarterbacked Flagstaff to victories over its traditional rivals, the Tempe Bulldogs, in 1936 (13-7) and 1937 (7-0). He helped raise funds for the student memorial building (North Union) honoring those students who gave their lives during World War II.
