2003 Hall of Fame Inductee

Anna Soderberg (Track and Field, 1993-1997)

She was a six-time All-American and won the 1996 NCAA discus championship, recording NAU's first NCAA track and field individual title. She earned All-American honors indoors in the shot put, weight throw, discus, and hammer outdoors in 1997. Overall, she was a 12-time Big Sky Conference champion, including four titles indoors (Shot Put: 1997, 1996, 1994; Weight Throw 1996) and eight outdoors (Shot Put: 1997, 1996, 1994; Discus: 1997, 1996, 1994, 1993; Hammer: 1997). Upon the completion of her career, she held five school records, including the indoor shot put and 20-lb weight throw and outdoor hammer, shot put and discus records.
