1988 Men's Cross Country Team
Coached by Ron Mann and Warren Mandrell, the 1988 Men's Cross Country Team tied for the highest NAU finish in any NCAA championship event when they finished second. The team had a perfect score of 15 at the Big Sky conference Championships with team members finishing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Members of the team captured first and second place at the Big Sky Championships and at the NCAA District 7 meet. NAU also had members capture a third and eigth place finish at the NCAA Championships. The 1988 Men's Cross Country Team also included Daren Stonerock, Cameron Mitchell, Chris Bray, Scott Pestka, Vince Firlotte and Eric Grubbs.
