Lee Prestwood joined the athletics department staff as compliance coordinator in April 2011.

He assists with NCAA compliance and eligibility efforts and student services for the athletic department, as well as day-to-day education and implementation of NCAA rules and regulations for the athletics department as well as the university at large.

He came to NAU after serving in the Texas Tech compliance office as an intern from 2008-09. He performed research for waivers, violations and educational pieces, while working with the eligibility and certification processes. He served as a teaching assistant during his time in Lubbock for the Department of Health, Exercise and Sport Science.

Prior to entering athletics, he worked for Levelfield, Inc., in Austin, Texas.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history from University of Texas in 1999 and a Master of Science in Sport Management from Texas Tech in 2009.
