Gretchen Povlsen is an accounting specialist and human resources liaison in her fourth year at Northern Arizona University.  She oversees accounting, finances, and human resource issues within the NAU athletics department.

Povlsen is a former NAU student who graduated in 2002. She earned her B.S.B.A in finance from the W.A. Franke College of Business.  She also received an investment certificate from NAU.

Povlsen also has management experience with multiple companies, including Wells Fargo. She has spent time working as an account executive and as a loan officer for a local mortgage company. 

She is married to Kris Povlsen.  They have two children, Cinco and Daniel Patrick, who was born on St. Patrick’s Day 2010.
