Kristi Andreassen begins her second year as an Academic Graduate Student Assistant at Northern Arizona University. She primarily works with the NAU soccer, men's basketball, volleyball, golf, and men's and women's track and field teams.

Andreassen graduated from NAU in December 2010 with a degree in exercise science and a perfect 4.00 GPA. She was a four-year starter on defense for the NAU women's soccer team and was named the 2010-11 CoSIDA/ESPN Women's Soccer Academic All-American of the Year, earning the award as the premiere women's soccer student-athlete in all of NCAA Division-I. She was a two-time Academic All-American, a finalist for the 2010 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, and was a four-time All-Big Sky selection and the 2010 Big Sky Defensive Most Valuable Player.

A native of Tempe, Ariz., Andreassen played professional soccer in Norway before returning to Northern Arizona for graduate school, where she is currently in the physical therapy program.
