A Word from the Interim Director of Academic Services, Pam Lowie
Welcome to Lumberjack Academic Services at Northern Arizona! The primary goal of the program is to offer support services that assist student-athletes in reaching or exceeding their educational goals while competing in intercollegiate athletics in the Big Sky Conference. Recognizing that the “student” in every student-athlete is critical for success in and out of the classroom, Academic Services offers quality resources to all student-athletes on campus. Some of the most beneficial resources we offer include: transitional programs, mentoring, free tutoring, and academic advising. Our CHAMPS/Life Skills Program is an integral program at NAU, ensuring that that all student-athletes have every opportunity to have both a wonderful educational and athletic experience. Lumberjack Academic Services is constantly evolving to meet the demands of our student-athletes. We look forward to another successful year in and out of the classroom.
