Donor Benefits

Charitable Donation - The Internal Revenue Code (IRC) provides that 80 percent of an amount paid to or for the benefit of an institution of higher education shall be treated as charitable contribution if, as a result of the payment, the donor receives the right to purchase tickets for seating at an athletic event in a stadium at the institution. There is also the “no benefits” option which will provide 100% tax deduction.

Tickets - Lumberjack Athletic Association Scholarship Fund members receive season-ticket seating priority for home events, including playoff and tournament games. LAA members also have the option to purchase additional single-game tickets for all home and away games, including NAU-Montana and Homecoming games, BASED ON GIVING LEVEL, SENIORITY AND AVAILABILITY. Seating priority is based on UNRESTRICTED membership level and availability. While every effort will be made to place members in appropriate seating areas, improvement of seating location may be deferred until better seats become available.

E-Newsletter - As an LAA member you will receive the Lumberjack Insider, a rolling monthly email alert providing you with updates on Lumberjack Athletics and LAA functions.

Parking Priority - LAA members Axer level and above receive complimentary parking passes with their season tickets (Townjack level and above will receive VIP Parking). These passes provide access to different lots for football and men’s basketball competitions BASED ON DONATION LEVEL AND AVAILABILITY. (See parking map for specific lot locations.)

Pre-game & half-time reception - Your LAA membership card yields complimentary access for you and one guest (two people total) to special hospitality receptions including pre-game socials at the pavilion for football games and pre-game socials for men’s basketball and women’s basketball competitions.

Lumberjack Merchandise - The various membership levels provide you an LAA Gift that cannot be purchased anywhere else. You will be contacted with dates to claim these exclusive gifts so please be prepared to plan accordingly.

President’s Associates - LAA members from the Lumberjack level and above are also recognized as members of this on-campus group as a result of their support of the university. Among other things, membership in this group includes invites to university-wide special events.
