(11/20/2008 - Swimming & Diving) FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Three recruits have signed National Letters-of-Intent to join the NAU swimming and diving team in the fall of 2009, as announced by head coach Andy Johns and diving coach Nikki Huffman. Kristy Ardavanis (Gilbert, Ariz./Mesquite), Jaclyn Branning (Phoenix, Ariz./Paradise Valley) and Fiona Connell (Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia/Hill Sports) will all add depth to the Lumberjack team next year.

In order to earn a Big Sky Tournament berth, the Lumberjacks must defeat Northern Colorado on the road Saturday. (11/20/2008 - Women's Basketball) FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The NAU women's basketball team is still looking for its first win of the season, and after starting the season with three straight road games, now returns home for four straight contests. NAU has a strong history on its home court, where the Lumberjacks have gone 41-13 in the last four years.
